Banana Ice-cream

Here’s a quick recipe to make banana ice cream; so, let’s start off with the ingredients first.

Ingredients Required

•	Large ripe bananas-6
•	Lemon juice-1 teaspoon
•	Light corn syrup-3/4 cup
•	Vanilla-1 tsp
•	Whipping cream-1 ½ cups

Method:

Freeze the bananas for around six hours. Remove them from freezer and defrost for 45 minutes. Peel the bananas and cut them into pieces. Process the chopped bananas along with lemon juice in a food processor for 15 seconds. Add vanilla and corn syrup; turn on the processor.

Gradually, add the whipping cream while the processor is still running and blend till the mixture becomes smooth. Chill this mixture in the refrigerator for half-an-hour. Pour it into the ice-cream maker and freeze till the consistency of ice-cream is reached. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving to facilitate easy scooping.

Lemon Ice-cream

Having seen how to make banana ice-cream, let’s move on to the lemon ice cream maker recipe.

Ingredients Required

•	Milk-3 cups
•	Evaporated milk-1 cup
•	Whipping cream-1 cup
•	Lemon juice-1/2 cup
•	Lemon extract-3/4 tsp
•	Sugar-2 cups

Kenmore is one of the most reputed brands for home appliances; ice-makers are no exception to this category. However, even the best ice-makers face minor repairs and most of these repairs can be solved at home without the assistance of a professional serviceman. This post gives you details about some of the common Kenmore ice maker problems and their possible solutions.

Common Issues

Common problems faced with Kenmore ice makers are given below:

•	Water Leakage: Water leaking from ice maker into the freezer is one of the common problems faced. This is probably due to water coming from the mold. Remove the panel and monitor the machine in action. If this is the problem, then align the fill cup perfectly. This should overcome the leakage.

Dealing with Ice Problems

•	No Ice: If the machine is not generating ice, then the issue is with power supply. If the fill bar across the side of the ice maker is raised, it implies that power is switched off. Lower it to facilitate normal working of the unit.
•	Bad taste of ice: This is due to prolonged use of the unit without cleaning. Remove the ice bin and wash it thoroughly.
•	Discolored ice: To overcome this issue, flush out the supply line and switch off the valve. Detach the supply line and place it under running water until it becomes clear.

Kenmore ice maker problems are simple to handle and solve.
